Legal aspects of Schiavo case

In essence, Michael had the money because he had sued to hire a good lawyer and the Schindlers didn't. The trial judge chose to believe Michael's version and that became, legally speaking, the "facts of the case." Once those "facts" are established legally, no other court is going to overturn them:
