I'm working on a small book about angels. It will be about how angels help us, what we know about them, and will also contain some stories and prayers.
I could use some help! If you or someone you know have a true story about help you received the intercession of the angels, I would love to hear about it.
Depending on how many stories I received, I will pick the best, most interesting ones to use in the book. You could submit them either by leaving them in the comments, or by emailing them to:
angelstories126@yahoo.com (that last part is the number 1 followed by 26)
If you leave a comment, though, please leave your email address so I can contact you. I have to obtain release forms giving us permission to use the story.
Thank you very much! God bless you!
I'm entrusting this project to the intercession of the angels. Today is the first Thursday of the month, and it is a custom in our congregation to dedicate the first Thursday to the angels. This was something handed on to us by our founder, Blessed James Alberione.

We are pretty sure an angel helped my daughter. The story has been published (with alterations) as a piece of fiction and also in a tiny book by LA Judge, many years ago, which seems not to be in print. Since content is not copyrightable, only words, I believe that there would be no copyright problem in using the story, rewritten in whatever fashion needed to describe the facts and only the facts, if you want to use it. Here is a link to the content: http://mahloumusings.blogspot.com/2009/08/merging.html.
I've got easily a dozen angel-stories at my weblog.

No angel stories but check out my name.... :o)
Often my friend Cathy sends me her guardian angel to watch over me. And sometimes I send her mine. It works well for us!

Oh, I've got a few stories, one that is a combination of mine and my Mom's....I'll have to get back to you on this one.... :-)
Um, it's a bit long (blog post, long even for me!), but you maybe will be the judge if it's worth it.
Oh....and if you are looking for stories....check out the Sisters of Charity of Our Lady Mother of the Church. Their foundress, I believe is the one who had a huge devotion to Angels, and it remains with the community today. I'm sure the Sisters there could give you many MANY stories...

OK, I have checked my archives for the stories I've written about, so here are a couple links:
http://adorotedevote.blogspot.com/2008/01/childhood-disasters-and-angelic.html
http://adorotedevote.blogspot.com/2006/06/sin-consequence-sacrifice-grace-and.html
The second link involves a bit of analysis so it's a very long post.
If you do want to use any part of these, let me know as I think I'd probably have to go over it with my Mom for accuracy (if she could remember).
Have fun with this project, am sure you'll be sent a lot of great stories!

My maternal grandmother had a vision of an angel shortly before she died, which lead her to convert to Catholicism.
I wrote about it here:
